Adipurush (English: Lord Rama) is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language epic fantasy action film directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, and Prasad Sutar. It is an adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana, and stars Prabhas as Rama, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh Nijjar as Hanuman, and Devdatta Nage as Laxman.
The film is set in the ancient kingdom of Ayodhya and tells the story of Rama, a prince who is exiled from his kingdom after his father is killed by his uncle. Rama then sets out on a journey to defeat Ravana, a powerful demon who has kidnapped his wife, Sita.
Adipurush is a visually stunning film with some exciting action sequences. The film is also a celebration of Indian culture and mythology.
